FYI, when you beat his "raid boss" version, you get access to several more chests (there's a second room that's closed off when you're doing the mission). The best loot in the HH DLC's will mostly come from chests, like the ones you get access to after you beat SoC. The odds just don't seem to be particularly good. None of the main HH DLC bosses seem to have any designated drops, except for the DLC heads and skins, and I've never gotten a random legendary or pearl from any of them (and I've killed Snowflake hundreds of times in UVHM, at various levels, up to and including OP8). But for SoC, I think you might be able to just pay the Eridium again to summon him again immediately (it's been a while).ĭo the "raid boss" versions drop better loot? Not from what I've seen. I think it's 20 bars, so it's not cheap, although I guess you'll get at least some of that back from the stuff on the ground after the fight (assuming that you can beat him).įWIW, for at least some HH DLC bosses, like Snowflake, you can just leave the map and come back and summon them again, although, playing solo, I find it a lot faster and easier to just exit to the menu and reload my character. But for Son of Crawmerax, you have to pay Eridium. For example, in Mercenary Day, you ring some bells to summon Snowflake. FYI, since there's no fighting involved in the first Peak mission, a brand new character can go there and do that first level 35 mission for some quick and easy XP (not to mention picking up some cash from the containers, and maybe finding some level 35 stuff to sell).Īs for the HH DLC bosses, you just go back and do whatever to summon them again. If something affected the levels in your DLC, then I guess it's possible that the Peak was affected too, but I doubt it. It always has been for me, regardless of character level. So to re-challenge these bosses, I take it I just go back to where I met them before then? And they'll drop some better loot? :D Originally posted by Dj =D:So we were playing Digistruct peak while it was scaled to level 50, and we were 43? No wonder that was difficult xD
